Deployment and governance

Aurelia should launch as a governed product layer with clear ownership, measurement, review loops, and escalation rules rather than as an experimental side widget with no operational model.

Recommended rollout path

Start where intent is highest and learn before broadening.

  1. Phase 1: prove discovery and hotel-fit value

Launch on homepage, one or two browse surfaces, flagship hotel pages, and the booking handoff.

  2. Phase 2: expand prompt coverage

Add destination pages, promotional landers, and curated collection modules once the core journeys are stable.

  3. Phase 3: operationalize the layer

Formalize analytics, content review, knowledge refresh, and answer-gap triage across the hotel group.

Analytics and review loops

Measure guest intent, friction, and conversion support instead of chat volume alone.

  • Launch rate from each prompt surface.
  • Prompt categories that most often precede rate handoff.
  • Questions that could not be answered confidently from current knowledge.
  • Destination or hotel pages with high hesitation and low conversion momentum.
  • Compare flows, alternative recommendations, and repeated dead-end questions.

Those signals are not just operational metrics. They are product inputs for merchandising, content strategy, data quality improvement, and which properties or experiences deserve more explicit coverage.

Governance guardrails

Aurelia should be governed like a guest-facing product capability.

  • Define what answers must remain grounded to first-party or officially verified sources.
  • Review prompt surfaces and answer tone for brand alignment.
  • Create a process for resolving answer gaps, stale knowledge, and escalation paths.
  • Separate aspirational roadmap claims from capabilities that exist in the live product surface today.
Do not overclaim

For a CTO audience especially, credibility comes from showing where Aurelia is already strong, where the current prototype surface is real, and where future production work would deepen the system. Avoid pretending the product already has an unseen platform behind it.

Security and operational posture

Keep the product architecture simple, observable, and explicit about data handling.

  • Use controlled environment variables for model access and retrieval pipelines.
  • Keep brand and page context limited to what the assistant needs for the current flow.
  • Audit live-lookup usage and source domains when freshness checks are allowed.
  • Treat analytics, answer review, and knowledge refresh as first-class operational concerns.
